Save the date: 19th November 2022 – OSME’s next online Winter Meeting
With our online meetings proving very popular with our members and supporters, we have decided to continue with these for the foreseeable future. Previous online meetings have been attended by members from all parts of the OSME region and beyond, something that is impossible when holding face-to-face meetings. We’re also able to invite speakers from different OSME countries, including those that have received funding from our various small grants programmes. The programme of talks for our next winter meeting is currently being finalised, but confirmed talks include:
- The breeding microhabitat preferences of White-headed Ducks and Common Pochards at Lake Mogan in Turkey – Ibrahim Kaan Özgencil
- The Egyptian Vulture on Socotra – Richard Porter
- Migration studies of the Sociable Lapwing – Ruslan Urazaliyev
